MRP Scheduling Agreements (SA)

We encourage users to take notes during course.Lead: Jorge Cervera Overview: MRP SA will streamline the procurement process eliminating no value-added work for our purchasing teams while ensuring compliance to our purchasing guidelines and regulatory requirements. If we have correct material master set ups, info records and source list, the procurement process can become touchless via discrete orders and scheduling agreements. Having exact data will be key for the purchasing automation process to work, minimize errors. LO1: Enable the scalability by implementing the use of automatic PO for all parts on the following programs:  SMI - Supplier Managed Inventory, JIT - Just in time, BULK - Bulky items, discrete orders.LO2: Implement the use of automatic PO creation for scheduling agreements and replace Kanban by Supplier thru the year.LO3: Place POs within supplier lead time, minimizing drop in requirements due to late PO releases.LO4: Implement Planning time fence via automatic PO suppliersLO5: Configure SAP to set up up automatic POs or SAs.
